Nquire
Nquire is a Windows application that searches an Excel sheet for various combinations of values, that when summed, equal any given amount. It targets a specified worksheet and column in the specified Excel spreadsheet. The combinations are returned, with indicated row numbers and their respective values, in a list view, with the option of printing the data to a PDF.
This is particularly useful when searching a large spreadsheet with values knowing that the sum of 2 or more values total a given value that you are looking for. As an example, you may know that the total value of your stock is R1000 but the total of all stock in your Excel Sheet is R1150. You now need to find which products cause the discrepancy of R150. This tool would show you all the combinations of 2 or more values that total R150 and would assist in finding your problem.

The Ngine.dll is a compiled unit of code built for the .Net 4 Framework and comprises of useful and generic functionality. The DLL has three namespaces (categories) of functions namely:-
Encryption – Encrypt and Decryt strings (based on the RijndaelManaged class)
SQL – Funcationality for SQL Server connections
Useful – A collection of useful functions
Email – Generic email functionality
CSV – Generic CSV creation from a SQL statement

Coming soon is the fully featured DLL as well as the fully fledged reporting application which is in it’s final steps of testing (and already has a long list of new features to add to the next version). It’s tricky to decide where to draw the line and we’re excited about the prospects of this cool product.

The Nreports Windows application is in it’s final development and testing phase and will soon be released. This is a simple reporting solution allowing one to create professional reports from simple SQL queries.
The application will be available as a single user application or a multi-user networked solution and uses the Nreport DLL as it’s core. It provides an intuitive front-end for users to create reports and store them in a fully customisable treeview. Reports can be run off different SQL Servers (provided you have the connection details), and only a basic knowledge of SQL queries is required to get you started with your first report!
